Frontier Salvage

 Story

The colony ship Settlers Hope was on its way to sector 48352 when it was attacked by a group of pirates. Though the crew was able to fend them off they lost a portion of the main drive in the battle. While they have most of the parts on board to repair the drive 3 pieces needed have to be salvaged from the ramies of the battle to repair the ship. These items seemed to have floated to adjoining sectors.

You play Alex Nomiss, a simple salvager that was along fro the ride. With the only fully functioning small craft on board you need to travel the sectors in search of the missing items. As you travel you can only make one jump at a time, while this might be a problem for a normal craft. Your sun rider as been retrofitted with a cutting edge scoop that can turn most derby in to usable jump fuel.

The fate of the future colony is in your hands.

Instructions

Jump from sector to sector. If a sector contains a drive piece a directional locator will appear on screen. If a piece is present in a sector than you need both the piece and jump drive change to leave the sector. Once all 3 pieces are collected than you next jump will be at the Settlers Hope. Aim for the ship and get close enough and you docking computer will take over from their.

 Notes and Thanks

This was made in far less than 72 hours with a team of 3. It was all coded by hand in C# with the help of Monogame. The entire project was done with open source software other than discord and each of us using windows as our operating system.
